This is the back end of a doubleheader between these two squads as they faced off in Boston just two days ago. The game was knotted up at two’s after the second period but when the final twenty started the Bruins took care of business and I expect them to do so again tonight.

The Boston Bruins are a damn good hockey team, there is no denying it.

When they get down to that final stretch of the season you can see that playoff team start to wake up from within them. They play a physical, aggressive, forceful game when they are at their best and they have excellent talent to light the lamp in all situations. I think they are starting to play some dangerously good hockey going into the stretch here and if Ullmark stays on point between the pipes they will be lethal and I guarantee you good enough to (not saying they will, saying they can) knock off anyone they see in the first round.

They sit in the fourth seat for the division race right down but that is a poor way to look at this situation; they have ninety-one points, they are just sitting behind two teams with 93 and the leader has 100.

One of them has to lose and in a perfect world that is in regulation. If that happens and the Bruins win they will then be tied for third and their leverage only grows as they will just trail the two seat by two points.

If their playoff aspirations are legitimate they take care of business tonight against a Columbus Blue Jackets team that is 3-7 across their last ten games and sporting a 3.85 GAA post ASB and an even worse 3.88 GAA through thirty four road games this season.
