JT Miller breaks down the Arizona Coyotes vs the St. Louis Blues game. Can the Blues stay in stride at home?
ANALYSIS

Arizona Coyotes vs St. Louis Blues Prediction: Ride the Blues At Home

My boys, we are riding the train while they are hot and need to be. I have been very open about the fact that I am from the Lou and a big fan of the notes but when it comes to betting I am completely unbiased to them and that goes for all the teams I support.  I have two rules in regard to doing it and I have mentioned them multiple times before; following those two rules I have been found a lot of success so far so I am going to stick with my gut here and trust that the guys get it done here in another spot where they need to.

We backed them on the money line in three of their four games last week and had money on all of them; they cashed the money line (and most of our side bets) in all three spots and with the help of Edmonton killed the total where we did not back them. Now reminiscing does us no good; I am not here to talk about wins of the past. The bet I always care about the most is my next one. The reason I am bringing that up though is that for the most part, they are playing great hockey; they are doing what they need to be doing to get to where they want to go.

Tonight is a night where you absolutely have to take care of business if you want to go there and the bookmakers are well aware so the lines are crazy; last week we got them at -135, +100, and +209.  Tonight, they are around a -400 favorite so the money line is not really an option. We have to get creative here but I am fading Arizona in a spot where St. Louis desperately needs to keep this momentum going forward.

Ville Husso will be between the pipes again, after conceding four in the first period against Edmonton the other night I do not think Chief Berube is wanting to take a chance on his once prized netminder Jordan Binnington at the time being. I love Binner and hope he figures it out but right now they are riding the hot hand as they should when they need the win.

St. Louis is sporting a solid 3.61 GF/G at home this season while holding opponents to 2.71 although that number jumped a bit post-all-star break with Binnington's fall off in play. I do believe that in the flow of the game tonight they will concede a couple of goals but Ville should keep things tight and the St. Louis offense should do the rest.

The desert dogs are on a back-to-back sporting a 3.49 GAA on the road this season and are sending out Ivan Prosvetov to make his third start of the season this evening; he is 0-1-1 with a 3.84 GAA.

St. Louis dropped their last home game and desperately needs to keep this momentum rolling against a team playing a lost season. The Blues won the first meeting of the season 7-4 in Arizona then the Yotes took a 3-2 game in the Lou.

Look for the notes to take the season series tonight.
