Their offensive prowess is elite and they put up goals in bunches; they have had little dry spots here and there but all teams do and they tend to really show out on home Ice. They were struggling to keep pucks out of the net heading towards the deadline and knew they had to make a move to get some help on the backend if they really wanted to make a push this season.

The players know that the team, management, ownership, and all others along those lines are backing them and are basically pushing their chips in making a move like that here. I love it and I think they can be dangerous in the playoffs if they continue to build form and things settle in nicely with the new man between the pipes.
