There has been a goal in the first ten minutes in 25 of the last 28 New Jersey Devils games; there has been one in 19 of the last 26 Winnipeg Jets games. New Jersey has hit the first period over 1.5 in over 80% of their games in the last three months or so. 

That is not a fluke, that is a legitimate trend that directly supports the pace at which these two teams play and the number of goals that we have been seeing in their games as of late. Neither squad has great talent on the back end and the play between the pipes has been horrendous for the majority of their 2022 campaigns.

The numbers show that the guys between the pipes are decent tonight, but they are both backup netminders who have honestly just gotten lucky. Eric Comrie has barely played and if you look at the stats he’s given up 3 goals more times than anything else but a good margin. If you know anything about the New Jersey Devils, you know that they basically play with an open net at times. 

Both squads can easily get after it and win this one and I expect them to try to. Look for them to get the scoreboard going early and keep it coming.

The over has hit in five straight Detroit Red Wings home games. They have given up 29 goals in those five games. 

Twenty-nine. 

They are giving conceding 3.52 GPG on the season at home but in their recent forum that is an absurd 5.8 GAA. One of those games they only game up two by the way; they are sporting a 6.75 GAA across their last four. 

They cannot stop a nosebleed and their netminders have done them no favors. This will likely regress at some point as all great trends do but as the Minnesota Wild comes into town I do not think it ends tonight.

Obviously, they have been slumping but their offensive prowess is undeniable and ready to break out at any time; they dropped five on New York the other night, and expect them to try to roll that momentum forward tonight. They have scored 23 goals in their last six road games and luckily for them, the man between the pipes for Detroit loves to give them up. Thomas Griess is expected to be in net and he is sporting a 3.65 GAA on 19 starts this season. If it is not him do not fret, Alex Nedelijkovic has given up 18 goals in the last four starts and gave up seven last time out two the Yotes.

Minnesota is much better than Arizona and I could see them doing similar if not greater damage here tonight. They have been conceding goals as well and Detroit has not been kept off the board in these contests, so I do expect them to be in it. Minnesota just has the horses and I see them running this one up but I see the total hitting regardless.

Okay so instead of another writeup I figured the most responsible decision to make here was craft another glorious across the board, alternate line parlay. It was the right thing to do; we cashed a +457 on Tuesday and it was beautiful but that is old news. 

We have a beautiful board here today and I see money on it. if you cannot get all these lines and such, at least understand that I like the legs for a reason! Feel free to it to help you out, maybe guide you in the right direction if we are lucky tonight and I think we might have a little.
