Saturday, April 1 College Basketball Player Props

Alijah Martin Under 13.5 Points (-120) (Bet $120 to collect $220) Best odds available at DraftKings; click here to bet

The Florida Atlantic Owls have been an incredible offensive team all season long. But that might change this evening. The San Diego State Aztecs are arguably the best defensive team in college basketball this season. They're the 4th-ranked defense in the country and have allowed just 57.3 points per game in their four NCAA Tournament wins. This will be an incredibly tough matchup for FAU's Alijah Martin.

Martin played nine games against top-75 teams in the country this season and predictably struggled. He remained under this line in 7 of 9 games, averaging just 12.2 PPG. He shot only 41.1% from the field in these games, down from 44.2% FG against all other opponents.

The All-Conference USA guard has fallen victim to the Owls' nine-man rotation that coach Dusty May rolls out, regardless of FAU's opponent. This should continue to cap Martin's playing time and usage at around 30 minutes and 10 or 11 field goal attempts per game. It'll be a tall task for him to turn in an efficient scoring performance against this SDSU defense.

Adama Sanogo + Jordan Miller Same Game Parlay (-138) (Bet $138 to collect $238) Best odds available at FanDuel; click here to bet

Leg 1: Adama Sanogo 14+ Points

Leg 2: Adama Sanogo 4+ Rebounds

Leg 3: Jordan Miller 10+ Points

This UConn/Miami SGP that we built over on FanDuel is undoubtedly worth some juice. We're banking on two of the biggest stars of this year's tournament to have solid games, which doesn't feel like too much to ask for. And, if this SGP isn't available to you, I love Adama Sanogo Over 17.5 Points as the best pivot.

Adama Sanogo has been magnificent throughout his junior-year season, averaging 17.1 points and 7.5 rebounds on a career-high 60.2 FG%. He's finished with 14+ points and 4+ boards in 26 of his 37 games this season, including 14 of his last 19.

Sanogo has posted 20.0 PPG and 9.8 RPG during the tournament and now faces a Miami defense that lacks size and had one of the worst 2-point defenses of any team that qualified for postseason basketball in 2023. We've already seen Indiana's Trayce Jackson-Davis and Drake's Darnell Brodie light the Hurricanes up for 20+ points over the last few games, and Sanogo is well-positioned to have a huge game tonight.

Meanwhile, Jordan Miller is fresh off of a perfect game, dropping a season-high 27 points in Miami's Elite Eight win over Texas. He's now scored in double-digits in 29 of his last 30 games, averaging 15.8 PPG during this stretch. And he's nearly guaranteed to see 36-plus minutes of action as long as this game remains remotely close. His steady diet of drives and trips to the free-throw line should get him to double-digits tonight.
