The New York Knicks could not close out the series in Game 5, and must hit the road once again. They head to Philadelphia to take on the Sixers from Wells Fargo Center in Game 6 of this tight series.

The Sixers were able to stay alive in this series after falling to 1-3 thanks to a clutch three in the waning seconds of regulation by Tyrese Maxey in game five to force overtime. Now, the Sixers are a home win away from forcing a game seven in New York.
With the series tightening up and getting closer to an ending, the books think we see a very low-scoring game tonight in Philly. The total tonight is just 201, which is the lowest total in the series so far. We have seen good defense from both teams and we should expect a physical, lower-scoring game six tonight. With that being said, there is an under I love tonight’s game, and this one is going to Knick’s point guard Jalen Brunson. I would be a maniac to even think about taking Brunson's under on his points, considering he has had back-to-back 40-point games and scored 39 in game three. However, the angle I will be taking on Brunson is taking the under on his assists.
Brunson has been set at 7.5 assists in each game this series and is 2–3 to the over. He went over in games three and four, with 13 and 10 assists, respectively. However, with Brunson taking so much of the scoring burden on his own shoulders, I do not see him hitting eight assists tonight in Philly. Brunson took 32 field goal attempts in Game 5 and 34 in Game 4. He is clearly shooting the ball a lot when he gets it, even though he is still dishing out assists. Still, 7.5 feels like a high line for a guy who is shooting as much as him when he gets the ball. Even with Philly looking to lock him down defensively, he is still driving and at least getting free throws or just making incredible shots as we have seen the last few games.
With the total so low in this game and the extra intensity ramping up in the series, I don’t see Brunson passing 7.5 assists. He has already gone under this number in three games in the series, and it took an incredible shooting effort from the Knicks in Game 3 for him to hit 13.
That felt like an anomaly, as Brunson is averaging just 13 potential assists on the series so far. On average, players hit just under about half of their potential assists, putting Brunson at seven per game on average in the series. He only averaged 6.7 assists in the regular season as well, which makes this line even more peculiar. With how hot Brunson has been offensively, I expect him to be taking a lot more shots than passes he’s dishing out tonight.
