Welcome to the daily hit parlay, brought to you by Calling Our Shot. I hope you all had a great weekend. We've done very well on these hit parlays this season. Today, we aim to cash another one with you all.
MONDAY'S HIT PARLAY
LEG 1: BRYAN REYNOLDS (PIT) TO RECORD A HIT
Our first leg of the hit parlay: Bryan Reynolds. Reynolds faces Carson Spiers and the Reds at home today. Reynolds is currently on a 14 game hit streak and we have to continue to back him while he’s seeing the ball well.
Against the pitch mix Spiers throws, Reynolds has a great average against them. This month, Reynolds is hitting .339 and batting in the two spot, his chances will be there to raise that average today. Let’s extend that streak to 15 games and cash the first leg of this parlay.
LEG 2: MARCUS SEMIEN (TEX) TO RECORD A HIT
Our second leg of the hit parlay: Marcus Semien. Semien hasn't found his way into the Hit Parlay often so don't make me regret this, Marcus. He has a terrific matchup today against David Peterson and the Mets.
While they haven't had any previous matchups, I don't think that will matter. Marcus is hitting .341 against Left Handed Pitching (Peterson is a lefty). Marcus is also coming off an 0-4 game which snapped his four game hit streak. Returning back home, I have to trust Semien to deliver.
