Best MLB Strikeout Bets: Lock In This Expert's Best MLB Player Prop Bets for Wednesday

With 16 games on the MLB slate, there are essentially 32 different pitchers getting the start tonight.

After reviewing each matchup, I've identified my favorite three strikeout props for tonight's MLB slate. Tail below!

May 15 Best MLB Strikeout Props

Trevor Rogers Under 3.5 Ks (-111) CLICK HERE TO SEE WHICH SPORTSBOOK HAS THE BEST ODDS

Ryan Weathers went eight innings against the Tigers and only struck out four batters as a left-handed pitcher.

It'll be the same story with Trevor Rogers. He's another lefty for the Marlins, who will face the Tigers later today.

Rogers has only struck out 14.1% of righties to begin the year. He's also allowed a .217 ISO and wOBA of .394 to his first 178 batters this season. His stats are ultimately way worse than Weathers.

Meanwhile, the Tigers' projected lineup has only struck out 21.1% of the time. There are ultimately just three bats that are major targets for strikeouts against lefties. Yet, the projected lineup has eight righties in it, which is an area where Rogers has also struggled to get strikeouts.

I'm on the Under here.

Casey Mize Under 4.5 Ks (-160) CLICK HERE TO SEE WHICH SPORTSBOOK HAS THE BEST ODDS

Let's stay in this Tigers-Marlins matchup.

Casey Mize has only struck out 16% of batters this season. He's getting his outs, thanks to a low ISO number and 48.4% of ground balls. Mize has also limited fly balls and line drives really well, while also holding teams to a 5.6% walk rate.

But again, he's not getting strikeouts.

He'll go up against a Miami projected lineup that only has three targets with high strikeouts. One of the three targets is Tristan Gray, but he's ultimately got a super small sample size.

The Marlins even have three batters who have struck out below 15% of the time. Grab Mize's Under in today's game.

Carlos Carrasco Under 3.5 Ks (+106) CLICK HERE TO SEE WHICH SPORTSBOOK HAS THE BEST ODDS

I'll stick with the Unders today. Carlos Carrasco has only struck out 17.4% of batters this season. However, he's taking on a Rangers lineup that will likely only have two targets for strikeouts.

This year, Marcus Semien, Corey Seager, and Nathaniel Lowe have all struck out below 12.5% of the time against righties. Only Adolis Garcia and Ezequiel Duran have struck out at a higher rate than 20.8% in the Texas lineup.

In addition, Carrasco has allowed a .223 ISO and wOBA of .370, so it's unlikely he pitches anywhere close to a gem tonight. He might not even get through five innings.
