Best MLB Strikeout Bets: Lock In This Expert's Best MLB Player Prop Bets for Tuesday

With 16 games on the MLB slate, there are essentially 32 different pitchers getting the start tonight.

After reviewing each matchup, I've identified my favorite three strikeout props for tonight's MLB slate. Tail below!

May 14 Best MLB Strikeout Props

Chris Bassitt Under 4.5 Ks (+126) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

Chris Bassitt has struck out only 21.3% of batters this season. He's added 25.3% of strikeouts against righties but has only added 16.9% against lefties.

He'll face a Baltimore lineup that will likely have six lefties in the lineup. Those lefties have combined for just 16.4% of strikeouts. Meanwhile, as a projected lineup, including the three righties, the Orioles have struck out only 18.7% of the time.

Bassitt doesn't have many legitimate targets to rack up strikeouts. At +126, I'll take a gamble with Bassitt's under.

Ryan Weathers Under 4.5 Ks (-146) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

The Marlins will pitch left-hander Ryan Weathers tonight. He's been dominant against lefties but not so much against righties.

Unfortunately for him, Weathers is facing a Tigers lineup that will likely have seven righties in it. Those righties have only struck out 19.4% of the time against lefties this season.

Meanwhile, Weathers has struck out just 15.8% of righties to begin the season. Last year was more of the same, with just 14.5% of strikeouts against 193 righties.

Detroit's offense has potential against Weathers. The majority of Weathers' outs will be in play. Take his under.

Carlos Rodon Under 5.5 Ks (-148) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

Carlos Rodon has struck out only 20% of righties this season. As a lefty, he's always had a harder time adding strikeouts against righties. Last season, he added 21.2% of strikeouts against righties despite striking out 28% of lefties.

Rodon is in line to face a Minnesota Twins lineup that has struck out only 18.4% of the lefties this year. In the lineup, the Twins will likely have nine righties. If Rodon can't add a single strikeout against a lefty, it'll be incredibly difficult for him to add six strikeouts against righties when he's only added 20% of strikeouts against them this season.
