Best MLB Home Run Bets: Lock In This Expert's Best MLB Player Prop Bets for Thursday

Only half of the league is playing baseball today, but there are still plenty of exciting looks for home run props.

I've added three home run props, and I'm looking to bounce back after cashing in on no home runs yesterday.

May 9 Best MLB Home Run Props

Elly De La Cruz to Hit a Home Run (+420) CLICK HERE TO SEE WHICH SPORTSBOOK HAS THE BEST ODDS

The Diamondbacks are throwing Slade Cecconi for today's matchup against the Reds. The right-hander has already allowed a .241 ISO to his first 31 lefties.

Last year, Cecconi gave up a .232 ISO and wOBA of .320 with 41.7% of fly balls. This year, it's similar numbers. He's allowed 39.1% of fly balls to lefties and has only struck out 19.4% of them.

He's in line to face Elly De La Cruz, who already has a .244 ISO and wOBA of .361 against lefties since last season. De La Cruz will strike out three times every ten at-bats against righties. But Cecconi isn't a high-strikeout pitcher, especially against lefties.

That bodes well for De La Cruz. Let's take a chance with Elly today.

Juan Soto to Hit a Home Run (+420) CLICK HERE TO SEE WHICH SPORTSBOOK HAS THE BEST ODDS

Juan Soto has crushed righties since last season.

The left-handed slugger and MVP hopeful has a .268 ISO and a wOBA of .422, with only 15.9% strikeouts against righties.

He's also hit 65.1% of hard contact and a barrel percentage of 14.5%.

He'll take on Ronel Blanco of the Astros, who has allowed a .167 ISO to 70 lefties this year.

Blanco has improved significantly this season, but his success probably wasn't sustainable. To begin the year, he allowed 46.7% of fly balls to lefties and a .210 ISO and wOBA of .357 to 226 batters last season.

In New York, a Soto fly ball easily has the chance of getting over the wall.

Nolan Arenado to Hit a Home Run (+440) CLICK HERE TO SEE WHICH SPORTSBOOK HAS THE BEST ODDS

I'm aware that the Cardinals have been miserable offensively this season. But Nolan Arenado has a really good matchup against Tobias Myers tonight.

Myers is a right-handed pitcher for the Brewers. He has allowed a .536 ISO and a wOBA of .463 to his first 32 righties.

Since last season, Arenado has hit a .182 ISO and wOBA of .348 with only 17.4% strikeouts against righties. These aren't all-star numbers, but they're respectable numbers against righties.

Arenado is still good at limiting ground balls and has hit 26.6% of line drives against righties since last year. Therefore, I'll give him a shot tonight.
