Washington vs. Michigan Prediction

Washington will attempt to claim a championship for the Pac-12 in its final season.

The Huskies will be a part of the Big Ten moving forward, so these two teams will get more familiar with one another.

These two programs have met 13 times. The first meeting was on September 26th, 1953, in a game that Michigan won 50-0.

Michigan has won eight of the thirteen contests.

Washington has been tested this season, winning eight of their fourteen games by one possession.

The sportsbooks have doubted the Huskies all season, making them a 10.5-point underdog in the Pac-12 Championship against the Oregon Ducks.

Michael Penix Jr. leads the Huskies offense, which ranks ninth in points per game (37.6).

Penix Jr. has been one of the best players in college football, throwing for 4,648 yards, 35 touchdowns, and nine interceptions.

Junior Dillon Johnson has been the Huskies' top option in the rushing game with 1,162 yards and 16 touchdowns.

Washington has one of the best wide receiver cores in college football, headlined by Rome Odunze, who leads the team with 1,553 yards and 13 touchdowns.

Additionally, Wide receiver Ja’Lynn Polk has racked up 1,122 yards and nine touchdowns.

The Huskies defense ranks 49th in points allowed per game (24.1).

Michigan will attempt to claim its first National Championship in the Jim Harbaugh era.

The Wolverines have been the most dominant team in college football, winning 11 of their 14 games by nine points or more.

Alabama tested Michigan in the semi-finals, but a clutch late drive forced overtime, where their defense stepped up and got a goal-line stand to punch their ticket to the Championship.

J.J. McCarthy commands the Wolverines offense. McCarthy has thrown for 2,851 yards, 22 touchdowns, and four interceptions.

Running back Blake Corum has been one of the best running backs in college football, scampering for 1,111 yards and 25 touchdowns.

Honolulu native Roman Wilson has been the favorite target of McCarthy, leading the team with 735 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Michigan has the best defensive unit in college football, allowing opponents 10.2 points per game.

Washington vs. Michigan Pick

I am taking an alt line and sipping some juice to close the season.

Michigan is the better team on both sides of the football.

The Wolverines hold a major advantage in the trenches and will be able to run the football efficiently, controlling the time of possession in this game.

Washington is a dynamic offensive unit, but they have not seen a defensive team as good as Michigan.

The Wolverines will shut down Washington’s rushing attack and make them one-dimensional tonight.

Let’s close a massive season with a bang!
