The WNBA season begins tonight, with the Indiana Fever against the Connecticut Sun as one of the four games on the schedule.

As many recall, the Indiana Fever selected former Iowa Hawkeyes legend Caitlin Clark as the first overall pick in the WNBA draft.

With little time to prepare and adapt to the WNBA, Clark, and many other rookies will make their WNBA debuts this week.

How will Clark fare against the Connecticut Sun in her first-ever regular-season WNBA game? Here are three Caitlin Clark props to consider for tonight's game.

In the final preseason game for the Fever, Caitlin Clark contributed 12 points on 4-for-12 from the field. Nine of her 12 attempts were from downtown, but she only finished 2-for-9 from downtown.

Clark won't get many easy buckets. She'll shoot many threes and should have success from downtown. But around the rim, it might get more difficult for Clark to score around the rim before she adapts to the league.

Caitlin Clark is joining a team that finished 13-27 last year. While she'll absolutely make the Fever better, it's going to take time for the Fever to compete against the top teams in the league, like the Sun, Aces, and Liberty.

Clark added just two assists against the Dallas Wings in preseason action after playing 28 minutes. In her next game, she added just six assists against the Atlanta Dream.

It's much more likely that the Fever will struggle offensively against the Sun, who finished in the top four in the WNBA in most defensive stats. In addition, the Sun finished first last year in opponent assists to turnover ratio.

In Clark's first game in the WNBA, the turnovers will probably stack up.

Clark attempted 13 three-pointers against Dallas in the first preseason game. Then she took nine three-pointers against the Atlanta Dream in the second pre-season game.

Although the Sun has done well against three-point shooters in the past, Caitlin Clark will likely attempt enough three-pointers to earn at least four threes in tonight's game.
