In the Game 4 win by Oklahoma we saw Lu Dort have a huge game going for 17 points on 14 field goal attempts with three threes on ten attempts. He had four open three-point attempts and five wide open three-point attempts per nba.com. If he continues to get these quality looks in Game 5 we can expect him to make them at a much higher efficiency than in Game 4.
A lot of this was because Dort had Derrick Lively and Daniel Gafford on him most of the time who would sag off him and protect the rim. With Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jalen Williams driving the ball often and drawing attention, it left Dort open from three a lot and he got great looks. When the bigs aren’t guarding him he usually has Luka Doncic on him who helps off him a lot.
