Best NBA Prop Picks: Lock In This Expert's Best NBA Prop Bets for Tuesday

The NBA schedule tonight features two Game 1 second-round matchups. The Celtics will face the Cavaliers in the first matchup, and then we'll have the highly anticipated showdown between the Mavericks and Thunder.

Here are some player props to consider for those matchups!

May 7 Best NBA Player Props

Evan Mobley Under 2.5 Assists (-132) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

With or without Jarrett Allen, Evan Mobley hasn't recorded many assists in the playoffs thus far.

Mobley has added 1.7 assists per game and has added just one assist in his last 75 minutes on the floor.

While the Orlando Magic played incredible defense throughout their series against the Cavaliers, the Celtics can certainly do the same. If anything, Boston is probably the most well-rounded team in the NBA, even without Kristaps Porzingis on the floor.

Let's take Mobley's Under on assists here.

Jayson Tatum Over 2.5 Threes (-140) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

Funny enough, Jayson Tatum is only third on the Celtics in scoring during the playoffs. He's averaged 21.8 points per game and has shot just 29% from three.

That said, he's attempted at least six threes in all but one game so far. In the one game where he didn't, Tatum played only 32 minutes after the Celtics ended the Heat in Game 5, 118-84.

I know Tatum has struggled from downtown to begin the playoffs, but he shot nearly 36% from three against the Cavaliers in three games in the regular season and scored 26 points per game.

At home, look for Tatum to reset and make some big shots for Boston tonight. I'm on the Over.

Kyrie Irving Under 24.5 Points (+102) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

Kyrie Irving has scored 30.5 points per game in two games against the Thunder this season. However, I'm still on the Under.

The Thunder were terrific defensively against the Pelicans and never let up. On the other hand, Kyrie Irving has stretches where he's just not scoring at all. He's had three games with 30 points but also three games with 23 or fewer.

Oklahoma City's defense doesn't get enough credit. They held the Pelicans to no better than 100 points per 100 possessions in all four games and swept the Pelicans with ease. Look for the defense to play at a high level against Irving and the Mavericks. I'm not even sure the Mavericks can get to 100 points tonight. If they don't, it's very likely Irving will finish below 25 points.
