Sacramento Kings vs. Golden State Warriors Prediction

The Warriors enter this series seen as the favorites despite being the number six seed. The reason for that is the championship DNA that this roster has. The Warriors are led by stars Steph Curry and Klay Thompson, who have a combined eight championships. This Warriors team has been the most successful team over the last decade, and they feel as if they can run it back and win another NBA Championship this year.

Sacramento, meanwhile, will be making their first playoff appearance in sixteen years. The Kings snapped the longest drought in the NBA this year when they punched a ticket to the playoffs this year. The duo of De'Aaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis leads Sacramento.

Both were All-Stars this year and are the main reason the Kings are here. Another huge reason the Kings are in this position is head coach Mike Brown who will win coach of the year. Brown was a long-time assistant coach for the Warriors and knows this team well.

I am going to take the Kings on the moneyline tonight. I expect a lot of people to be on the Warriors, and I understand the argument that you can make for Golden State, but I am going to make an argument for the Kings.

This Warriors team was brutal all season on the road. Golden State ended the year 11-30 on the road. For reference, the Charlotte Hornets and Orlando Magic had a better road record. I expect them to continue their road struggles tonight. The Kings, meanwhile, played very well at home this year, and I expect the crowd to be electric tonight. I will trust the Kings at home in game one.
