The Golden State Warriors looked excellent in Game 1. It looked like the Warriors were in championship-level form and everything was clicking. Andrew Wiggins was a huge part of this and was certainly the unsung hero of the series' opening contest.
Wiggins came out strong with 10 points in the first quarter and played spectacular defense on Luka Doncic and Dallas' other perimeter scorers all night long. He'll be locked into a big role again tonight, and there's some fantastic value on his lines in Game 2.

Leg 1: Andrew Wiggins 1+ Threes Made
Let's get this leg out of the way. It's an easy one. Andrew Wiggins has knocked down at least one three-pointer in every single game this postseason. With so much attention on Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, Wiggins was able to launch 8 threes in Game 1, and he hit 3 of them.
He's now hit in every single game against the Mavs this season, averaging 1.8 3PM and 5.4 3PA across five meetings. On the season as a whole, he's hit a three-ball in 76 of 85 games. Wiggs has come a long, long way as a shooter since he's arrived in Golden State. He's shot 38.4% from deep since being traded to the Warriors, a huge increase from his 33.2% shooting during his Minnesota tenure. Wiggins even hit a three in 63 of 72 games last season, too.
Look for the Canadian wing to see plenty more opportunities to nail a three tonight.
Leg 2: Andrew Wiggins 1+ Assists
Another byproduct of sharing the floor with Curry and Thompson is the easy playmaking opportunities that present themselves to guys like Wiggins. The first-time All-Star has the same hit rate for recording an assist as he does for recording a made three this season: 76 of 85 games (89.4%).
Wiggins finished with 3 assists on 5 potential assists in Game 1. He now has 2+ assists in all five of his games against the Mavs this season, averaging 3.0 APG across these games. He averaged 2.5 assists and 5.3 potential assists per 36 minutes this season. And, after logging 35 minutes in a blowout win on Wednesday night, Wiggs should see plenty of action this evening.
Leg 3: Kevon Looney 2+ Rebounds - 1st Quarter
Kevon Looney was so great in the closeout win over the Grizzlies that he earned the start in Game 1, where he performed quite well yet again. He finished a perfect 5/5 from the field, adding on 5 rebounds and 4 assists.
Most importantly, Looney grabbed 3 rebounds in the first quarter. He'll be matched up with Dwight Powell to begin the game again tonight, so he should be in close enough proximity to the rim to see plenty of rebound chances right away. Looney has faced the Mavs five times this season, hitting this mark in every single game. He even grabbed 3+ Q1 rebounds in 4 of these 5 games.
Overall, the UCLA product has started 52 games since January 1st. He's grabbed 2+ Q1 rebounds in 43 of these 52 starts, averaging 3.1 REB during that stretch. He averages 2.8 REB per 8 minutes this season and should see a minimum of 7 minutes of action in the opening quarter tonight.
