NBA Parlay Picks For Tuesday: Utah Jazz vs. Los Angeles Clippers, Bucks vs. 76ers, And More

Tuesday's NBA Parlay Picks

Odds: +107 (Bet $100 to Win $107)

We did it! We're finally back in the win column after a bad week or so. But now, we need to make up for lost time, so let's dive right into it.

The Brooklyn Nets might have lost to the Charlotte Hornets in their last game, but I can't see a world where they fall against the Detroit Pistons - especially now that they're starting to build chemistry between their starting five. Brooklyn's job is going to be made easier by the absence of Jerami Grant, as that removes the Piston's best offensive weapon and leaves them incredibly short-handed. I'm expecting a decent game from Cade Cunningham, as he's improving on almost a daily basis at this point, but he's not ready to do battle with Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant just yet. Things look even worse for the Pistons when you factor in their 24th ranked defense and factor in their 8 losses from their last 10 games. As such, I'm riding with the Nets on the money line.

I'm not a fan of the Chicago Bulls at present, their style of play is disjointed, and they look like a team that's trying to recapture the glory days of earlier in the season. Still, I do have them as favorites for tonight's contest against the Washington Wizards, and for good reason. Washington cannot call on Bradley Beal, Kyle Kuzma, or Vernon Carey Jr. for tonight's game, and that's a big blow to their chances of coming out of this contest with a victory. Sure, the Bulls have lost 6 of their last 10, but they should have more than enough in the tank to defeat a team with the 25th ranked defense and 21st ranked offense. Still, I can't put too much faith in Chicago winning this game, they've been disappointing recently and we need to approach with caution, so a +7-point spread for the Bulls has me feeling confident.

The final game in this parlay is between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Dallas Mavericks. The Lakers continue to struggle, and honestly, their lack of on-court cohesion is impressive at times, even if it's for all the wrong reasons. The purple and gold have only tasted victory 3 times in their last 10 attempts, and are hanging on to the final play-in spot by a 0.5 game margin, with the San Antonio Spurs' breathing down their necks. So, things can still get worse for LeBron James and co. and the Mavericks could be the team to deliver a hammer blow. Dallas isn't the best offensive team this year, but they can lean on Luka Doncic, and Spencer Dinwiddie has been a great addition to the team. But, the Mavericks make their bones on the defensive end of the floor, and currently rank 6th in the NBA. I can't back the Lakers to win here, they're too far gone in their self-induced implosion, which is why I'm backing them on a +16-point spread - and yes, it's a large spread, but the Lakers need a lot of rope in order to be viable for us.

Tonight's contest between the Philadelphia 76ers and the Milwaukee Bucks is a potential preview of the Eastern Conference Finals - both teams are that good. Furthermore, both teams are in good form right now and have been fighting for home-court advantage after topsy-turvy seasons due to injury and player unhappiness (Ben Simmons). Still, we have to pick a winner here, no matter how difficult it may seem - and believe me, this is difficult. I mean, the Sixers have gone 5-and-5 over their last ten games, but now have James Harden and Joel Embiid available, while the Bucks are 7-10. According to today's injury report, both teams should have all of their elite talent available, which makes this matchup must-see TV. I'm honestly torn here, but due to their recent performances, I'm placing the Sixers as slight underdogs, and as such, will be backing them with a +9-point spread.

The Utah Jazz is sliding right now, and have lost 6 of their last 10 games, including a mauling by the Boston Celtics. While the Jazz is still considered to be one of the better teams in the Western Conference, they don't look as frightful as they did to begin the year, and that's a concern considering how close we are to the playoffs. The Los Angeles Clippers, on the other hand, are a team that doesn't know when to quit, sure, the Clippers have dropped 8 of their last 10 games, but they're always up for a fight. However, it's worth remembering that Utah defeated the Clippers over the weekend, and by a respectable margin too. A lot is riding on the availability of Rudy Gobert and Bojan Bogdanovic for the Jazz, but if we're being honest, they should have enough talent to handle the Clippers with or without those two. A +10-point spread feels both fair and logical for the Los Angeles Clippers tonight, especially if they're able to take advantage of Utah's current poor form, and if they're fired up by the notion of revenge.
