NBA Parlay Breakdown
The Atlanta Hawks have found a trustworthy system in recent weeks, and have been reaping the benefits as a result. Tonight, however, the Hawks run into the Phoenix Suns, and their good run of form may hit a slight speed bump. Phoenix currently sits atop of the Western Conference, three games ahead of the Golden State Warriors, and has only lost 9 times all season. The Hawks, on the other hand, are 10th in the East, having lost 26 times. So, while Atlanta has had some encouraging performances in recent weeks, they're facing a championship-level roster that operates in a merciful fashion. However, Phoniex does have a long list of players on the injury report, some of whom are integral to the team's success. Cameron Payne, Deandre Ayton, Jae Crowder, Abdel Nader, and Landry Shamet are all rotation players when healthy, and their absences will be felt tonight. Atlanta doesn't have such injury concerns but will be sweating on Trae Young's availability for tonight's game, as he's currently listed as questionable to start the day. Despite the Suns' injury issues, I still have them as favorites for tonight's game - just not by a wide margin, which is why we're backing the Hawks on a +7 spread to get this parlay started.
Next up, we have the Chicago Bulls facing off against the Toronto Raptors, exactly a week since the last time these two teams faced each other, with the Bulls winning that contest. However, Vegas has the Raptors as slight favorites today, despite Chicago having no new names on their injury report. However, the Raptors have won their last three games in a row, with their last loss coming at the hands of Chicago. The Bulls have done a stellar job at building a roster so deep, that the loss of two of their better guards is seemingly a blip on the radar, and that's why I expect them to remain competitive tonight despite the absence of Lonzo Ball and Alex Caruso. Including last week's win against Toronto, the Bulls have won 3 of their last 4 games, and seem to be coping perfectly fine without some of their primary ball-handlers, so taking them on a +5 spread feels like I'm playing with house money. Chicago will need to watch out for Fred VanVleet, though, as without Ball or Caruso, he's likely to go unchecked throughout the game, and that has me thinking Coby White is in for a torrid time.
The last game on this parlay is between the Sacramento Kings and the Golden State Warriors, and yes, we're completely expecting the Warriors to win this one. Sacramento snapped their losing streak last night when they defeated the Brooklyn Nets 112-101 - much to my (and everybody else's) surprise. However, we're not expecting a repeat performance tonight. The Warriors have been in great form recently, winning their last 7 games, and should have no issues making that 8 straight victories after tonight's encounter with their Western Conference counterparts. In terms of injuries, neither team projects to have any new names on their list, and those that are missing from the Warriors rotation have been absent for a while, so the adjustment period is over. Another thing to note is that the Kings currently sit 22nd in offensive rating, and will have a hard time dissecting the Warriors;' top-ranked defense - especially on the second night of a back-to-back. As such, we're giving the Kings plenty of room for error in this game, backing them on a +15-spread to round out this three-team parlay.
Los Angeles Clippers vs. Los Angeles Lakers Same-Game Parlay

The battle of Los Angeles always provides us with great entertainment. Unfortunately, most of the stars we would associate with this marquee matchup aren't going to take part. Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, LeBron James (possibly) - all of them are out for tonight's game, along with a string of rotation players on both sides. As such, the Lakers should be viewed as the better team coming into tonight's game, at least on paper. Dwight Howard and DeAndre Jordan will be tasked with slowing down Ivica Zubac, while the Clippers will be searching for answers surrounding Russell Westbrook and possibly Anthony Davis. The hard part here, is that the Lakers haven't released their injury report at the time of writing, and vegas have the Clippers as slight favorites, so there seems to be something I'm missing. From a form standpoint, both teams have been providing similar production, with the Clippers winning 4 of their last 7 games and the Lakers winning 3 of their last 7. I honestly favor the Lakers heading into this game, but know that it could go either way, so a +7-point spread for the purple and gold should cover all our bases heading into the game.

San Antonio Spurs vs. Miami Heat Same-Game Parlay

Similar to the Chicago Bulls, the Miami Heat are constructed in such a way that the loss of a player or two registers as a slight blip on the radar. In recent weeks the Heat has been entering games without the help of Jimmy Butler or Kyle Lowry, and somehow they've still remained competitive. The San Antonio Spurs are also suffering from some personnel issues, primarily at the center position, with both Jakob Poeltl and Zach Collins out of the rotation due to injury. The Heat enters tonight's game with both their offense and defense sitting 7th in the NBA - a credit to the balance of their roster - while the Spurs sit 15th in offense and 20th in defense. There's a clear gap in talent between these two teams and we should expect Miami to take full advantage of that tonight. A key player to watch, if you would like to add a prop bet to this game, is Bam Adebayo, who could be in for a big game considering the Spurs' lack of depth and talent at the center position due to injuries. I like Miami to win tonight but hope the Greg Popovich effect can keep things fairly even, which is why we're backing the Spurs on a +8-spread.
