Brian Good gives us his NBA 3-leg Same Game Parlay
ANALYSIS

We’re back with our daily FanDuel Same Game Parlay, and I’ve got my eyes on a showdown in the East. The Raptors have been one of the most disappointing teams in the conference this season. Their problem has been consistency and playing down to their competition. On Sunday, they dropped a game against one of the worst teams in the NBA, the Minnesota Timberwolves. Then, on Tuesday, they handled the Bucks with ease. They’ve been a nightmare to bet on so I’m staying away from any result-based wager.

There are three bets for Thurdsay's Raptors vs. Bucks game that I have my eyes on, and I’m going to take advantage of FanDuel’s generosity and package them in a 3-leg parlay to try and win big.

3-Leg Parlay @ +482 - $50 Bet Wins $240

Leg 1: Over 235 @ -110

Like I mentioned above, the Raptors have been absolutely brutal to bet on. They are 12-16 ATS this season and constantly play down to and/or up to their competition. So, I’m staying as far away from the spread or moneyline as I can tonight. I do like the over, however.

These two teams just played on Tuesday, and the Raptors won 124-113. That doesn’t necessarily mean this one will be a high-scoring game, but the trends for this season for both teams are telling me to hammer the over. Milwaukee has gone over in 63% of its games this year, and right behind them is the Raptors, who have beaten the total in 60% of their games. 235 is the highest number on the board Thursday, but I’m not going to let that scare me away from riding it.

Leg 2: Giannis Antetokounmpo Over 31.5 Points @ -108

It was a slow start to the season for Giannis, but that is certainly a thing of the past. The Greek Freak is back to his MVP-caliber ways and has looked like one of the best players in the NBA the past few weeks. On Tuesday, he put up 34 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists in the loss. His point total prop keeps going up, but it also keeps hitting so I’m going to continue to tail the over.

Antetokounmpo is averaging 30.3 points per game this month, slightly below this prop, but I think circumstance is going to lead to a massive showing on Thursday. The Bucks have lost four straight, so I think we can expect the two-time MVP to take things into his own hands to prevent it from getting to five games tonight.

Leg 3: Giannis Antetokounmpo Under 1.5 Three-Pointers @ -196

Is the price here great? No, it’s not. But, I think this is a no-brainer that we can throw in to get more value on the parlay. Giannis is not a great shooter. As a matter of fact, he’s a terrible three-point shooter. He shooting a 29% clip from beyond the arc this season. In the last month, he’s only made multiple three-pointers in three different games. He’s only made more than two three pointers one time this year, and it came in the season opener.

Unlike Ben Simmons, Antetokounmpo does occasionally let it fly from deep. But, he can’t hit the shot with any type of consistency. I think the under 1.5 3s is a safe bet here.
