Boston Celtics vs. Brooklyn Nets Prediction

The Brooklyn Nets cs the Boston Celtics will clash from the Garden in Boston, Massachusetts on Wednesday night for a prime-time affair. On paper, this is about as good as it gets for a head-to-head matchup, but the Nets come into this game a bit undermanned. Kevin Durant remains out for Brooklyn, and they will also likely be without Ben Simmons tonight. Brooklyn has had a great year so far, and they will look to hold things down until Durant returns. Kyrie Irving has been on a tear as of late in the absence of Durant. Irving is one of the most lethal scorers in basketball, and he has stepped up his play as of late. The Nets feel they have a roster good enough to make a run in the East.

They will have to get past Boston, who won the Eastern conference a season ago. The Celtics are led by Jayson Tatum, who is one of the favorites to win MVP this year. Jaylen Brown would be No. one on many teams, but for the Celtics, he plays as their No. two, and he has done an outstanding job at it. The bench has also been great for the Cs, led by Malcolm Brogdon, who is third on the team in scoring and currently has the second-best odds to win sixth man of the year. Boston comes into tonight’s game as a nine-point favorite.

I am staying off the spread in this game, but I will be backing a prop. I am turning to the services of Joe Harris for this one. We are backing Joe Harris over 8.5 points. This feels like a layup, and there is a good chance Harris clears this thing in the first half. Harris is averaging 8.4 points per game, but his role should increase tonight in the absence of Durant. Harris was outstanding vs. the Knicks on Saturday but struggled his last time out vs. the Lakers. I expect a bounce-back game from Joe tonight and for him to clear this number. Let’s keep rolling!
