2024 MLB All-Star Game Prediction: Can National League Upset Corbin Burnes, American League on Tuesday?
We don't have much going on this week with the MLB All-Star break underway, so you know what that means, we're betting on the All-Star Game. It's relatively a toss up when you have rosters like this, and you cannot put too much weight on motivation here. Up until 2017, the team that won the All-Star Game also was awarded home field advantage for the World Series which is obviously a huge motivation to play for, but they changed that rule a couple years ago, so now it is all about pride (and having fun, of course).

2024 MLB All-Star Game Prediction
The National League snapped a nine-year losing streak last season in a 3-2 win over the American League at T-Mobile Park in Seattle. Tonight, the National League All-Stars will be looking to win back-to-back All-Star Games for the first time since 2011, while the American League All-Stars will be looking to reclaim the throne they have held for 21 of the last 26 seasons.
Here's the thing, I think it is undeniable the American League has the stronger lineup and pitching with Corbin Burnes starting off, but the thing is they aren't playing the whole game. The National League starts to win the conversation when you talk reserves and who's going to be playing later in the game. Despite all the offensive talent, these games tend to be very low scoring, and I definitely think the under is in play once again, but I am going to take the National League to ride an electric first inning from Paul Skenes to the bank. Ryan Helsley closes out a tight one in electric fashion tonight.
