The Marlins should have more lefties than righties in their lineup. The lefties in the projected lineup have combined for a 26.1% strikeout rate against righties over the last 30 days. Meanwhile, the Marlins also haven't excelled against righties using their right-handed batters. The other righties in today's Miami lineup have struck out 27.3% of the time.

Burnes is in line to face a Mariners lineup with six lefties in it. Those six lefties have combined to strike out 29.9% of the time. Meanwhile, the three other righties have also struck out 30.8% of the time.
Burnes ultimately has seven targets in today's lineup, including seven batters with at least 25.6% strikeout rates over the last month against righties.
