St. Louis Cardinals vs. Pittsburgh Pirates Prediction
Miles Mikolas has a brutally high ERA, but he was actually pretty solid for the majority of May and June. He is coming off debatably the worst start of his season, but I want to buy-low on the veteran right-hander, especially against the struggling Jared Jones on the Pirates.
Jared Jones got off to an unbelievable start to his MLB career, but he’s struggled with his command mightily of late. Until he reels back in his command, I am going to continue to fade the Pirates young flamethrower in matchups that I like. Let’s back this veteran Cardinals team at plus money coming off back to back wins; I like the way St. Louis is trending…

San Diego Padres vs. Texas Rangers Prediction
Yesterday we were on the Rangers against Dylan Cease and the red-hot Padres, and today won’t be any different. Give me Jon Gray and the Rangers on their little two-game win streak as their bats continue to show up since leaving Baltimore last series. The Padres have a significant starting pitching advantage, and I want to buy-low on the reigning World Series champions when everyone’s already given up on them. Back the Rangers once again until they lose; I’ll meet you at the cash counter after their third win in a row.

Tampa Bay Rays vs. Kansas City Royals Prediction
Don’t let the Rays get hot! It might be too late, as they have won three of their last four games and their offense is finally starting to click. On paper, the Royals have the pitching advantage on Wednesday against Tampa Bay. Michael Wacha is coming off some really strong outings. Let’s fade the veteran who the Rays have recently faced, and back the Rays to steal the first two games of this series.
Kansas City is still seven games over .500, but this is a team I want to sell-high on as we approach the midway point of the MLB season. Their offense has slowed down immensely, and they simply can’t be trusted on a consistent basis. Let’s fade this young Rays lineup and back Ryan Pepiot and this veteran Tampa Bay squad to stay hot. I like the way the Rays are playing right now…
