THURSDAY'S HIT PARLAY
LEG 1: JOSH ROJAS (SEA) TO RECORD A HIT
Our first leg of the hit parlay: Josh Rojas. Rojas and the Mariners face off against Pablo Lopez and the Twins today. Rojas has been a great hitter as of late, with 2+ hits in four out of his last five games. Since being inserted into the lineup batting leadoff, he's been terrific. Today, he gets a tough matchup, but one he has exploited this year.
Rojas is hitting .370 against righties this season, which is an advantage against the righty Pablo Lopez today. Rojas has seen Pablo before in his career and is a career 3-7 with a .429 average against Lopez. Batting leadoff for the Mariners, Rojas will have the chance to deliver us a hit today.
LEG 2: JOSE ALTUVE (HOU) TO RECORD A HIT
Our second leg of the hit parlay: Jose Altuve. Altuve and the Astros face off against Marcus Stroman and the Yankees. Altuve delivered a clutch hit in the 9th inning for us yesterday, so we have to run it back today.
Altuve is batting .346 vs righties this season, which is great for the matchup against Stroman. In his career, Altuve is 5-15, batting .333 against Stroman. Once again batting leadoff for the Astros and with a guaranteed nine innings of at-bats, Altuve should get a hit in the Bronx today!
