I am taking my two favorite hitters on the Wednesday's MLB Slate and combining them for a parlay. I really like Bobby Witt Jr. of the Kansas City Royals and Yandy Diaz of the Tampa Bay Rays.
MLB Parlay Picks
Bobby Witt Jr. has 2+ hits in four of the last seven games and gets a solid matchup against Joe Ross. Ross has allowed a .290 average to right-handed batters this season and Witt has hit right-handed pitching well this season (.339 average). Witt owns a .333 average at home and has a .385 day game average this season which is also a plus. Against the top two pitches he will see today (against righties) he is hitting .389 and .355 this season. He's in a great spot today and I like his odds for a multi-hit game.
Yandy Diaz has 2+ hits in two of his last five games hitting .318 (all games played at home where he’s hitting .291 on the season). He’ll see Chris Flexen who he has dominated in his career going 4 for 8 with a hit in all three matchups. Flexen ranks in the 26th percentile in expected average this season so I think Yandy will be able to take advantage and get a few hits today.
