Why is this plus odds? Ragans has pitched at least six full innings in 13 of 19 games as a Royal. Tonight's matchup is a great one for the 26-year-old lefty as well. This line makes no sense to me, but I won’t overthink it.

Milwaukee Brewers vs. Kansas City Royals Prediction

These Milwaukee bats have never faced Ragans which should be an advantage for Cole here. Additionally, Milwaukee can’t hit lefties to save their life. The Brewers aren’t even hitting .200 against southpaws, as they are hitting just .198 in over 200 plate appearances. Ragans should dominate.

Kansas City has a been bullpen that isn’t overly impressive, so I think Kansas City should stretch out Ragans as much as they can. The Brewers allowed every Cubs pitcher in their last series to hit this, and I personally think Ragans is better than all of those guys. This being plus money is a steal to me, and it’s easily our play of the day. Let's roll!
