This is the first of a four game series as the Mets will travel to Chicago later this year for finish their seven-game series this season. Can the Cubs win to start this series? I don't think so.
Luis Severino will be pitching tonight, and has been solid in his 27 innings pitched. I expect him to deal tonight, and I see him pitching into the sixth inning. Severino is 2-2 so far this year, but has a 2.67 ERA and a 1.26 WHIP to start off the season. He has has 26 strikeouts on the year, and I expect the Cubs bats to be cold tonight as they will have a tough time against Severino tonight at Citi Field. The Mets bats will be hot and the stadium will be ready for some ball. Give me the Mets in blowout fashion tonight!
