First off, we have Blake Snell. He hasn’t looked great this year, but he will turn it around at some point. I believe in him and think tonight could be the night that he re-establishes his ace status. Snell has phenomenal lifetime numbers against Arizona. The Diamondbacks' bats are a lifetime 14-107 against him, which is just a .131 average. Snell dominates these guys and we avoid some of the big names here.
The other three outs we need from Jordan Montgomery. When he’s not being screwed over by Scott Boras, this guy is a darn good pitcher. He gets a Giants team that doesn’t strike too much fear into me. He looked great against San Francisco, and I don’t think wearing a new jersey will change anything here. Looking for him to take out his offseason frustrations on this team and get going early. This game has a 7.5 total, we love seeing that. Let's roll!
