MLB Sunday Parlay Picks: Can You Trust Jack Flaherty, Tigers To Start Hot?
Getting creative here. Let's target Jack Flaherty to have a controlled outing for the Detroit Tigers, while also backing Zack Wheeler and the Phillies to keep it close with the Pirates.
MLB Sunday Parlay Picks
The main leg here is Jack Flaherty u2.5 walks. I don’t know where the books got this number, but it shouldn’t be available. At -180, that’s way too steep for me, but we brought it down with a juice reducer that has a good chance at hitting.
Flaherty has only walked one batter this year, and has been pumping strikes pretty consistently. In his nine-game stint in Baltimore, he was under in eight of nine games as well. Minnesota has 21 plate appearances against Flaherty as a team, and only one total walk garnered against him all time.
Phillies +1.5 feels safe with Zack Wheeler on the bump. Wheeler dominates these Pirates bats with them hitting a lifetime 11-62 against him, which is just a .177 average. Phillies couldn’t give him run support in his last outing, so I hope they do today. Pitching for Pittsburgh is Mitch Keller. He historically gets destroyed by Philly as they are 36-99 against him, which is nearly a team .370 batting average. We just need Philly to not be losing by two or more after five innings. Let's roll!
