Kansas City Royals vs. New York Mets Prediction: Can Sean Manaea Limit the Royals?
The New York Mets take on the Royals for the second time of their three-game series. Yesterday, we took the under on Luis Severino’s 17.5 pitching outs and it cashed. Today, I’m taking a similar angle with Sean Manaea U17.5 pitching outs.

KANSAS CITY ROYALS VS. NEW YORK METS PREDICTION
Severino only managed 15 outs despite allowing just one hit and one earned run. The Royals were disciplined at the plate and ran up Severino’s pitch count by drawing walks with long at bats.
I’m expecting a similar result with Manaea who relies heavily on strikeouts. The Royals haven’t seen a ton of at bats against left-handed pitchers this year but rank 13th in batting average (.247) in the small sample size and when they have made contact they’ve hit the ball hard with a .160 ISO which is the ninth highest.
Kansas City ranks above league average in pitches seen per plate appearance and that’s exactly what we need from them today to force an early exit for Sean Manaea.
