There are five players I will be targeting from my hot hitters cheat sheet today to record 1+ hit. Joey Meneses, Trea Turner, Cody Bellinger, Corey Seager, and Freddie Freeman are all swinging hot bats at the moment, and I'm adding all five to record 1+ hit in a parlay that comes out to +385 odds from FanDuel.
MLB Parlay Today
1. Joey Meneses
Joey Meneses has a .312 batting average versus left-handed pitching this season. The left-handed pitcher he faces today, Ken Waldichuk, has a 10.11 H/9 in 2023, and Meneses is 2-3 against him in his career. After going hitless yesterday, I’m expecting a bounce-back game from the Nationals' first baseman.
2. Trea Turner
Trea Turner isn’t having the kind of season we’re used to seeing from him, but he’s been on an absolute tear as of late. He is currently riding a nine-game hit streak and has multiple hits in three of the last four games. In his career, he’s batting .421 against Sonny Gray and has recorded a hit in seven out of eight career games against him. Look for Trea to stay hot.
3. Cody Bellinger
Cody Bellinger is batting .331 on the year, which is currently the fourth-highest in the league. He’s recorded a hit in 22 of the last 25 games and multiple hits in six of the last eight, and I expect him to come through with another hit today in Toronto.
4. Corey Seager
Corey Seager has recorded a hit in 21 of the last 25 games, multiple hits in four of the last five, and seven homers in his last 11 games. He is hitting a whopping .354 against right-handed pitchers this season.
5. Freddie Freeman
Freddie Freeman went hitless last night, which snapped his seven-game hit streak. He also excited the game early but more for precautionary reasons since reports came out quickly; after that, he would be good to go today. Freddie has recorded a hit in 20 of the last 24 games, batting .354 against left-handed pitchers and .339 at Dodgers Stadium, and I don’t expect him to go without a hit in back-to-back games.
