Alright, y’all we have been off to a hot start here on the diamond and I plan to keep it rolling here today but first I just wanted to touch on something quickly. I like to keep you all in the loop with what I am doing; this early in the season I really cannot write about baseball like I do my other pieces. My confidence in my plays can capping is the same; last season treated me very well and we are off to a hot start in this one.
The difference is we are four games into the season so I just can’t throw out a crazy amount of data or compare season splits yet because we have none. Nothing is changing and as the year progresses obviously, I will use them more and more just right now I am not going to waste time digging or talking about last season too much because it’s a waste, why not just get after it.

The slate this evening is loaded and I expect this game to contend for the game of the night as two of the top dogs from the National League East clash for the first time this season. Both squads have only played one series so far but hold just one loss and have been swinging the sticks quite well.
We have cashed in on both squads and I feel bad fading one here so I am not going to entirely, there are a few angels I want to tap in on here. Taijuan Walker and Ranger Saurez will both be making their season debuts this evening and are both expected to be solid pieces of their respective rotations. I agree, however, I see the potential for some early season issues here tonight.
Short spring without a crazy amount of work means they are both a bit less prepared than normal and might be on pitch counts; not to mention Walker has his troubles with the Phillies as is.
Kyle Schwarber is 5/10 with 5 home runs off Walker; Bohm and Segura are also sporting really excellent career numbers against him all with an OPS well over .900. Between the three of them alone .400/.448/1.113 with 12 hits, three walks, and just three strikeouts on 36 PA. He also has to worry about Realmuto, Hoskins, and newly-inked slugger Nick Castellanos.
Oh yeah and Bryce Harper.
The Phillies tend to start off hot and have been electric to start this season; I love how both clubs are playing and will be a big supporter of each this year but tonight at home I see the edge with Philly and the total. I am not sleeping on New York here, trust me those guys can do damage but in a home game to start the season series I believe the edge goes the other way to get it started.
