Sydney McLaughlin Olympic Odds: Over 70% Chance McLaughlin Wins Gold in 400m Hurdles

If watching world-class athletes run their absolute fastest wasn’t enough for you, maybe you’ll like it when they throw hurdles in the mix as well. And, in the women’s 400m hurdles, there is no one in the world better than the United States’ Sydney McLaughlin.

At just 21 years of age, this is already the second Olympic Games for the New Brunswick, New Jersey native. At Rio De Janeiro in 2016, McLaughlin finished 14 in the event. This year, at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, she’s an overwhelming favorite at -240 to win gold.

Her time of 51.90 seconds she ran earlier this year in the leading time in the world and will be the world record upon ratification of the time.

She is the best in the world at the event and maybe even the best to ever run the 400m hurdles and the oddsmakers are betting on Sydney McLaughlin bringing home gold in the finals.

Betting On Sydney McLuaghlin At The 2020 Olympics

Betting on Sydney McLaughlin to win the gold in the 400m hurdles at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics is about as safe of a bet as you’ll find. Not only is she the world record holder, but she’s in great form, blowing away the competition in her first qualifier.

Unfortunately, her odds are already pretty short. But, if you place $1 on Sydney McLaughlin at DraftKings Sportsbook, they’re letting new users bet $1+ on the 2020 Olympics and win $100 if USA win any medal.

Which means, even if Sydney McLaughlin wins bronze you will still win, if Sydney McLaughlin doesn’t win a medal and USA wins any medal (which they already have), you will win $100.

This seems a no-brainer DraftKings promo, here’s how you claim:
