Tour de France Odds: Oddsmakers & Bettors Make Tadej Pogacar Favorite

The long-awaited 108th Tour de France starts this Saturday in Brest, France. The riders will make there way through France before finishing on the Champs-Elysees in Paris on Sunday, July 18.

Throughout the Tour there will be live odds and betting. Stay up-to-date with our Tour de France odds grids which will update automatically on OddsChecker to ensure you have the live odds at each stage.

But where has the money been going so far on the Tour de France odds grids?

Oddsmakers and bettors are looking for Slovenian Cyclist Tadej Pogacar to win the Tour de France again. Pogacar is the defending champion, having won the Tour de France in 2020. However, he isn’t the only one with a strong backing.

Pogacar is given +150 odds, or an implied 40% chance to win his second straight Tour de France. Fellow countryman Primoz Roglic, last year’s runner up, is the second favorite at +220, or an implied 31.3% chance to win. Former winner Geraint Thomas is also given decent odds at +550., or an implied 15.4% chance.

Meanwhile, bettors don’t really see much change from last year’s field. In fact, their top-3 matchup exactly to last year’s standings. Pogacar is the bettors’ favorite with 15.4% of bets over the last days. Roglic has seen14.7% of bets, and Richie Port has seen 9% of bets.

Bettors’ faovrite longshot is last year’s 6th place finisher Miguel Angel Lopez. He’s seen 4.8% of bets, 6th most on the market, but oddsmakers list him as their 11th favorite.
