NASCAR Odds: Kyle Busch Expected to Win at Pocono by Oddsmakers and Bettors
Kyle Busch comes into Saturday’s NASCAR Cup Series race, the Pocono Organics 325, still winless on the season, but that hasn’t stopped bettors and oddsmakers from supporting him.
Busch is a +500 favorite, implying a 16.7% chance of victory on Saturday. The second favorite, Kevin Harvick, is +600.
Oddsmakers aren’t alone in their expectations of Busch. According to DraftKings, 14% of all bets on the Pocono Organics 325 winner market are backing Busch, and a whopping 24% of the money is behind him.
Harvick owns 12% of the handle, good for second most, but the 7% of wagers on him is fifth overall.
12% of bettors are taking Denny Hamlin (+700), while 8% have backed Chase Elliott (+700) and Martin Truex Jr. (+750).
Saturday’s race is scheduled to get underway at 3:30 pm ET at Pocono Raceway, a track at which Busch has had tons of success.
Busch has won three of the last five NASCAR Cup Series races at Pocono, with wins in 2017, 2018 and 2019. He may still be looking for his first win of the season, but his status as favorite makes sense when considering his record at the track.
