Ted Lasso Odds: We've Priced Up Odds For the Ted Lasso Season 3 Finale

On Tuesday night at 9:00 pm PT, the hit AppleTV show, Ted Lasso, calls it a season as the season 3 finale goes live. There are tons of things still up in the air when it comes to the show, so, we've priced up our very own Ted Lasso odds to try and make sense of what we can expect.

In the past, sportsbooks have priced up their own odds for live-TV premiers, like they did this past week for Succession. But, a show that doesn't air on live TV, like Ted Lasso, makes it a bit tricky to make Ted Lasso odds.

This season has been met with mixed reviews, but there is still tons of drama to come in Tuesday night's season finale. Will AFC Richmond win the Premier League? Will Ted Lasso step down as manager of AFC Richmond? We take a look at our Ted Lasso odds to try and find out.

Will Ted Lasso Leave AFC Richmond?

ResultOddsImplied Chance
Yes-100090.9%
No+65013.3%

There are tons of different ways that "yes" could hit in the above Ted Lasso odds, so it makes sense that it's priced up so short. In the end, it appears as though this will likely be Ted Lasso's last season at AFC Richmond, ending Jason Sudeikis' run as a regular on the show.

Episode 11 ended with the cliffhanger of Ted Lasso telling team owner Rebecca Welton that he needed to tell her something. Couple that with the fact that Lasso's mother told him that his son missed him and the writing is on the wall.

Episode 12 of Season 3 is titled "So Long, Farewell", so it makes sense that our Ted Lasso odds have it priced so short that he will leave.

Who Will be the Next Manager for AFC Richmond?

Roy Kent+10050%
Nate Shelley+40020%
Beard+80011.1%
Any Current Player+15006.3%

If, or perhaps when, Ted Lasso leaves AFC Richmond, who will take over for the club? Well, if you've been paying attention, the answer seems to be painfully obvious.

Roy Kent, the former AFC Richmond player and legend, is the logical choice to become the next manager of the club, and that's why the latest Ted Lasso odds have him heavily favored.

At +100, he has a 50% chance to be the next AFC Richmond manager. The only real competition he has is Nate Shelley, the former AFC Richmond assistant and West Ham manager.

I do think Shelley comes back to AFC Richmond, likely as an assistant, but it's Kent's job to lose at this point.

Will AFC Richmond Win the Premier League?

Will AFC Richmond win the Premier League? That's the big question surrounding the Season 3 finale of Ted Lasso.

To me, it seems an obvious choice that they will indeed win the league, and I've priced up the latest Ted Lasso odds accordingly.

In my head, I see AFC Richmond winning the EPL after Ted tells Rebecca that it's his final game at the helm. He and Beard head back to America and Roy Kent comes on as manager after Nate accepts a job to become an assistant with the team.

This allows Sudeikis and close friend Brendan Hunt, who plays Beard, to walk away from the show as the main protagonists and allow the current cast to build ont he character development they've given us over the last three seasons.
