The world has been watching the next James Bond odds closely to see who will end up playing 007 next.

Last week, Hardy was the third favorite and his odds were drifting, now his next James Bond odds have been slashed and he's not only the second favorite, but he's also the second most popular pick among bettors in the last 7 days.

Like I mentioned earlier, Rege-Jean Page is still the favorite when it comes to the next James Bond odds. Right now, Page's odds to play 007 after Daniel Craig sit at +400, the shortest they've ever been. At +400, his implied probability to play Bond next is a whopping 20%.

Right behind Bond is Hardy, whose +500 odds imply a 16.7% chance he gets the role. On December 29, Hardy's next James Bond odds sat at +800. Now, they've been slashed almost in half.

Earlier this week, James Madden, who rose to fame as a star on Game of Thrones, was the second favorite to play James Bond next. His odds were sitting at +550 but now, his next James Bond odds are up to +700.

So, we know who the next James Bond odds are favoring. And, somewhat unsurprisingly, Page is also the most popular pick over the past week to play 007 with 18.37% of all bets backing him.

However, Hardy has made a serious move in that same time span. Earlier this week, Hardy had fewer than 3% of bets backing him to play James Bond next. Now, 10.2% of all bets, the second most in the market, are behind him.
