Prince Harry And Meghan Markle’s Baby Name Odds

The media over in England about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s second baby is out of control, almost taking center stage over the global pandemic. Thankfully, there are less people bothered about the Royal family over here, however, there are a fair few who have an unhealthy obsession with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

The media coverage in the US will only grow in upcoming months, as media-shy Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to appear in a Oprah Winfrey primetime special in early March.

Unfortunately, the likes of DraftKings, FanDuel and BetMGM are yet to offer odds on novelty betting markets. However, sportsbooks overseas are taking bets on the Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s baby name, and also what will happen the primetime special with Oprah Winfrey.

We’ll certainly be using these Royal Baby odds to make a couple of wagers in the OddsChecker office, so use them as a reference if betting with pals (we know some of you will bet on anything).

Price Harry And Meghan Markle Second Childs Name

We don’t know what sex Harry and Meghan are expecting, and to be honest we don’t really care. Having both male and female names in the Royal baby betting name adds some extra juice to the market.

Diana is the joint-favorite to be name of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s baby name! Surely this can’t happen?

According to one Australian sportsbook, there’s a 9.1% chance the royal baby will be called Diana, a homage to Prince Harry’s late mother.

Diana is the joint-favorite in the betting, alongside Arthur. Is there a more British name than Arthur? Solid chance of this happening, and again the odds suggest a 9.1% chance.

You will find the betting favorites at the bottom of the article, but we thought we’d pull a few interesting options for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

As we mentioned earlier, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be appearing on Oprah next month, could this to be announce they are calling the baby Oprah? Conspiracy theory, yes! Sportsbooks have the odds of the baby being named Oprah, set at +20000 (200/1), which implies a 0.5% chance.

Donald Trump has dominated the news in the last year, and despite the former President not being a bit fan of Harry and Meghan, the sportsbooks have set odds for Donald being an option for the Royal Baby name. Again, the odds imply a 0.5% chance.

We think this has legs, Kamala Harris is obviously a very inspirational woman to a lot of people. One sportsbook was offering odds of +10000 (100/1) for Harry and Meghan’s baby to be called Kamala. However, in the last few days these odds have been slashed to +1600 (16/1).

We’d bet almost every dollar we own that our golf expert, Geoff Fienberg couldn’t care less about the royal baby name. However, even Geoff would tip the hat to Harry if they named the baby Augusta, which is currently +3300 (33/1) in the betting market. A tribute to one of the best betting events of the year, The Masters.
