Lionel Messi has been the talk of the soccer world for the past few days. That isn't unusual itself but what is unusual is that it's about his club next season, not about his fantastic performances.
Earlier this week Lionel Messi handed in his transfer request and now we're all trying to guess the GOAT's next move.
Over the past few days the odds have changed on a regular basis and have been in almost constant flux. It did look like he was nailed on to move to Manchester City but now it's exactly even with the sportsbooks.
Whilst a stay at Barcelona and a move to Man City are now both even money, depending on your book, it looks like any other club is very unlikely at this stage.
Inter Milan are the next most likely destination for the Argentine but at 14/1 it shows just how unlikely a move to Italy is, likewise at 16/1 a move to PSG seems like it won't happen now.

Over the past 24 hours the majority of bets have been on Messi to join Manchester City, with 52.76% of bettors believing we'll see Messi in City's famous blue jerseys soon. Meanwhile 29.95% of bets have been on the Argentine to stay at Barca. Italian clubs Inter Milan and Juventus are the next most popular at 2.76% and 1.96% of bets respectively.
Interestingly we've found that despite the majority of bets being on Messi moving to the blue side of Manchester, the majority of the money has been on Lionel Messi to stay at Manchester City. 52.63% of the handle has been on Messi staying, which suggests some big money has been lumped on that market.
