Preakness Stakes Odds: Tiz The Law Favorite To Get Revenge Over Authentic
The 2020 Kentucky Derby was all about Tiz The Law; he was the talk of Kentucky and went off the odds-on favorite after a super impressive victory in the Belmont Stakes. Turning for home it looked like he would make it 2-2 in the 2020 Triple Crown series, until the third-favorite Authentic battled back to come home in front for legendary trainer Bob Baffert.
Despite the defeat, UK bookmakers Bet365 have priced up Tiz The Law as the favorite to win the Preakness Stakes, which will take place at Pimlico on Saturday October 3. It’s quite likely (though not yet confirmed) that both horses will clash again in the Preakness and it will be a huge rematch which will tell us just who is the star three-year-old colt this season.
Connections of Tiz The Law will use the wide draw as an excuse for lacking his trademark finishing kick, while owners of the winner will feel he won fair and square. All questions will be answered at Pimlico!
