Belmont Stakes Odds: Maxfield Odds Halve For First Leg Of Triple Crown
Godolphin have had many great horses throughout the years and it looks like Maxfield could be their latest star. The three-year-old extended his unbeaten record on Saturday with victory in the Matt Winn and stamped his claims for a possible bid at the Triple Crown.
This year, the Belmont Stakes is the first leg of the famous triple-header after Covid-19 enforced the delay of the Kentucky Derby and UK bookmakers were quick to slash Maxfield’s odds for Belmont. He was available at 12/1 before Saturday’s race and now sits at 6/1 behind the likes of Charlatan and Nadal in the betting.
Horse | Odds |
---|---|
Nadal | 7/2 |
Charlatan | 7/2 |
Tiz The Law | 7/2 |
Maxfield | 6/1 |
Mischevious Alex | 10/1 |
Shivaree | 14/1 |
Dr Post | 16/1 |
