2023 NASCAR Odds: Three Racers Lead the Way as Daytona 500 Favorites
With Martin Truex’s win at Clash at the Coliseum the NASCAR season is underway. Just like the first race of the year, the Daytona 500 has three favorites to win. Chase Elliott is once again a favorite but is joined by Denny Hamlin and Ryan Blaney this time.

Elliott, Hamlin, and Blaney are all given +1200 odds or an implied 7.7% chance to win their first race of the year. They’re closely followed by Joey Logano and Kyle Larson who are both given +1400 odds or an implied 6.7% chance.
Truex is given +3300 odds or an implied 2.9% chance to win despite winning last week. That has him 17th on the market. Last year’s winner, Austin Cindric, is given +2200 odds or an implied 4.3% chance to win. That has him 11th on the market.
The odds are once again tight at the top, as the books don’t know what the field is going to look like. Of course, Elliott remains at the top after being the regular season champion last season. Outside of him, the market is a mishmash of big-name drivers, not necessarily top drivers though. For example, both Bubba Wallace and Brad Keselowski are top-10 on the market this week. It’s truly a free for all at the Daytona 500.
