Like everyone, I'm going with Nomadland to win Best Picture. Besides the fact that it's one of just a few on this list that I've seen, I'm riding with both the betting public and the oddsmakers. The implied probability that this film wins the award is well clear of 80%. I think it takes home the Oscar on Sunday.

Boseman, who passed away in August of 2020, will be just the second actor to ever win the Best Actor award posthumously if he is indeed victourious. The first and only other actor to do so was Peter Finch in 1977.

But, I'm going with the public here and picking my first upset. I think Viola Davis takes home the Oscar for Best Actress, nudging slight favorite Carey Mulligan.
