I'm not sure anyone could have predicted that we'd be sitting here talking about Mark Zuckerberg vs. Elon Musk odds, but here we are. Not only have the two been engaging in a back-and-forth on different social media sites, but sportsbooks have officially started to price up odds for their potential MMA fight.
On Wednesday, Twitter owner Elon Musk responded to a tweet about a potential Twitter competitor being formed by Meta, the company owned by Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg.
Musk began with a quip about the world being under Zuckerberg's thumb if he forms a Twitter competitor. That tweet was met with a response about Zuckerberg's jiu-jitsu training, to which Musk responded "I’m up for a cage match if he is lol".
Famously known for his strange quotes and robotic demeanor, Zuckerberg posted a screenshot of the conversation on his verified Instagram account with three simple words: "send me location".
And just like that, the super fight no one knew they needed started to take shape.
When two of the world's biggest nerds start talking trash about going head-to-head in the octagon, people take notice. At the same time, sportsbooks have begun pricing up Elon Musk vs. Mark Zuckerberg odds for bettors to take advantage of, and one side seems to have a clear advantage.
