Below, we will take a look at the latest UFC 285 rumors and see how this event could lead to much more for Nickal.

UFC 285 Rumors

The biggest UFC 285 rumor all comes down to newcomer Bo Nickal. Nickal is a former wrestler out of Penn State University, where he dominated the D1 level.

Now, he finds himself in the UFC ring against Jamie Pickett at UFC 285. This will be the biggest fight of his life and Nickals seems ready to prove everyone wrong. Nickal is a huge favorite to win the fight, but as the former wrestler showed at Penn State, he won't take any opponent lightly. No matter who he was on the mat against at Penn State, Nickal made sure that he beat them and did so with ease most of the time.

It seems that he believes a win here could lead him to a fight with Khamzat Chimaev. Nickal spoke about a potential fight, noting how big it would be for him and the sport.

"It would be huge. Obviously, he has a lot of attention. He's probably the biggest, most hyped guy coming up right now that hasn't won a belt yet, and I think that eventually us clashing is inevitable. That's something that I visualize in my training, when I'm in a hard workout, getting my last bike sprint in, getting my last rep in. In the weight room, I'm visualizing that."

He's proven in his short UFC career that he can find a ton of success if he continues on this trajectory. Will that wrestling success carry over to the UFC? It sure looks like it for Bo.

The UFC 285 rumors will continue to rumble as Nickal looks for a massive win over Pickett.
