Jake Paul vs. Nate Diaz Odds: Jake Paul Given 73% Chance to Beat Nate Diaz

In just over two months, Jake Paul vs. Nate Diaz will take over the world of boxing. But, in the lead-up to the fight, it's Jake Paul vs. Nate Diaz odds that everyone will be talking about. and that's likely because one side is a massive favorite in the fight.

Jake Paul, YouTuber turned boxer, has had a successful career in the ring to this point. However, the last time we saw him boxing professionally he was handed his first loss of his career at the hands of Tommy Fury.

As for Nate Diaz, he's a legend in the octagon. His combination of striking and grappling has put him at the top of the sport for a long time. But, does his striking translate to the boxing ring?

To this point, most of Jake Paul's wins have come against former UFC fighters. Ben Askren, Tyron Woodley (twice) and Anderson Silva were all defeated by Paul. Will Nate Diaz be the next in line to take a loss at the hands of Paul? Let's take a look at the latest Jake Paul vs. Nate Diaz odds to try and find out.

Jake Paul vs. Nate Diaz Prediction

As you can see above, Jake Paul vs. Nate Diaz odds favor Paul to win by a considerable margin, and I think I'm in agreement with the sportsbooks on this one.

Paul, while still inexperienced, has proven that he can take guys that don't train for boxing year-round. Tyron Woodley gave Paul some trouble in their first fight, but he was ended with a vicious KO in their second fight.

Ben Askren was a joke when he fought Jake Paul, clearly using the fight as a quick money grab. Then, Paul took care of business against Anderson Silva.

Here's the thing. Diaz is a better striker than Askren and Woodley, but he's likely not a better puncher than Anderson Silva. Remember, in 2021 Silva beat former world champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. by a split decision.

Unfortunately, I think Diaz will prepare for this fight the same way others have, with the exception of Fury, and that's by looking at it as a pay day. This is a chance for Diaz to make a large sum of money, but he doesn't take boxing seriously and Paul does.

I think Diaz will be able to move around and not take too much damage, I certainly don't think he will get knocked out, but I do think Paul wins by decision as the more active fighter, similar to how he did against Tyron Woodley in their first fight.
