2024 March Madness Rankings: Power Ranking All 32 Teams In The Women's NCAA Tournament

Some of Women's College Basketball's best stars showed up in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

We're getting closer to these stars having to play one another. In two days, there will be only 16 teams left in the NCAAW Tournament.

Before we get ahead of ourselves, here are the power rankings for the 32 teams currently in the Tournament heading into Sunday.

2024 Women's March Madness Power Rankings

1. South Carolina Gamecocks

South Carolina is undefeated and just defeated Presbyterian 91-39.

2. Iowa Hawkeyes

Caitlin Clark and the Iowa Hawkeyes added a 91-65 win over Holy Cross to advance to the next round.

3. UConn Huskies

Paige Buckers led the Huskies with 28 points, 11 rebounds, and seven assists in a win over Jackson State.

4. USC Trojans

USC got another big game from JuJu Watkins. She finished with 23 points in a win over Texas A&M CC, despite only sinking one three.

5. Stanford Cardinal

Stanford defeated Norfolk State by 29 in their opening-round win.

6. Texas Longhorns

Texas got a 40-point win over Drexel, beating them 82-42.

7. LSU Tigers

The LSU Tigers might've been distracted on Friday when reports about Kim Mulkey being in a hit piece surfaced on the web. They didn't look good on Friday, but they survived. We know how much talent this team has. So they'll stay at No. 7.

8. UCLA Bruins

UCLA played in one of the latest opening-round games. They earned an 84-55 win over Cal Baptist.

9. Indiana Hoosiers

Some doubted Indiana in their opening matchup against Fairfield. They shouldn't have.

10. Notre Dame Fighting Irish

Notre Dame had a little bit of a scare against Kent State, only winning by 14. But it's called survive and advance for a reason.

11. Virginia Tech Hokies

Virginia Tech moved up the rankings after a massive 92-49 win over Marshall as a No. 4 seed.

13. Ohio State Buckeyes

14. NC State Wolfpack

15. Oregon State Beavers

16. Colorado Buffaloes

17. Indiana Hoosiers

18. Kansas State Wildcats

19. Utah Utes

20. Duke Blue Devils

21. Syracuse Orange

Syracuse defeated Arizona by just five points in the 6-11 matchup. It could've been worse. Louisville actually lost as a No. 6 seed.

22. Oklahoma Sooners

The Sooners hung on against FGCU as a No. 5 seed with a three-point win.

23. Creighton Bluejays

24. Baylor Bears

25. Ole Miss Rebels

27. North Carolina Tar Heels

The Tar Heels snuck by Michigan State with a three-point win.

28. West Virginia Mountaineers

29. Alabama Crimson Tide

30. Iowa State Cyclones

31. Nebraska Cornhuskers

32. Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders
