No. 3 Kansas State vs. No. 7 Michigan State

  • Time: 6:30 p.m. ET
  • Moneyline Odds: Kansas State (+118), Michigan State (-130)
  • Point Spread: Michigan State -2

Kansas State was predicted to make it far in this tournament, as they were given the No. 3 seed. With star players Keyontae Johnson and Markquis Nowell playing extremely well, the Wildcats have not disappointed.

Michigan State, however, has surprised the world. Led by Tyson Walker and Joey Hauser, the Spartans easily knocked off USC and then ended up taking the win over No. 2 seed Marquette. Walker logged 23 points in the win over Marquette. The odds for this Sweet Sixteen matchup have been fluctuating, but oddsmakers currently have Michigan State as the slight favorite over Kansas State.

No. 4 UConn vs. No. 8 Arkansas

  • Date: March 23, 2023
  • Time: 7:15 p.m. ET
  • Moneyline Odds: UConn (-170), Arkansas (+150)
  • Point Spread: UConn -3.5

Oddsmakers see UConn as the clear-cut favorite in this Sweet Sixteen matchup, sitting at -170 odds, or an implied 63% chance to win. Not only do the sportsbooks think the Huskies have an excellent shot at advancing to the Elite Eight, but they also believe they have a chance to take home the title. 6'5 Jordan Hawkins has been monstrous all tournament, and with the help of the other excellent shooters, UConn should continue to put up points. While Arkansas managed to upset the Jayhawks, Vegas thinks the Huskies will be the team to advance.

No 4. Tennessee vs. No. 9 FAU

  • Date: March 23, 2023
  • Time: 9:00 p.m. ET
  • Moneyline Odds: Tennessee (-235), FAU (+205)
  • Point Spread: Tennessee -5

Tennessee will be FAU's toughest competitor yet. While beating Memphis wasn't an easy task for the Owls, the 16-seed FDU isn't nearly as talented defense-wise as Tennessee is. The books see the Volunteers advancing to the Elite Eight, but with a point spread of just five, they're predicting a close game.

No. 2 UCLA vs. No 3. Gonzaga

  • Date: March 23, 2023
  • Time: 9:45 p.m. ET
  • Moneyline Odds: UCLA (-125), Gonzaga (+120)
  • Point Spread: UCLA -2

Gonzaga and UCLA faced each other just two years ago now. It will be exciting to see a rematch between these two. The odds for this matchup continue to change, but for now, the books have Gonzaga as the slight underdog to UCLA. The Zags are coming off an impressive win over TCU, but UCLA will be a tougher competitor. Can the Bruins pull off another win?

No 1. Alabama vs. No. 5 San Diego State

  • Date: March 24, 2023
  • Time: 6:30 p.m. ET
  • Moneyline Odds: Alabama (-300), SDSU (+285)
  • Point Spread: Alabama -8

Alabama is said to be the best team in college basketball. Throughout the NCAA Tournament thus far, they have continued to prove that. What makes the Crimson Tide so special is their talent at both ends of the ball. They play ridiculously fast and have one of the top defenses in the nation. SDSU plays their game drastically differently. Both teams have superb defenses, but with how fast Alabama plays, it's looking like this won't be too close of a game, according to the books.

No. 1 Houston vs. No. 5 Miami

  • Date: March 24, 2023
  • Time: 7:15 p.m. ET
  • Moneyline Odds: Houston (-285), Miami (+245)
  • Point Spread: Houston -7

These are two teams that have been on FIRE. Miami just put on a dominating performance over Indiana last night. The Canes' offense is electric. It's as simple as that. Isaiah Wong, Jordan Miller, Norchad Omier, and Nijel Pack, Miami's stacked on offense.

Houston, on the other hand, was given the 1 seed for a reason. Their defense is unstoppable. Throughout the year, the Cougars allowed more than 70 points only four times. Who will win this highly anticipated Sweet Sixteen contest? The books are heavily favoring the Cougars.

No 6. Creighton vs. No. 16 Princeton

  • Date: March 24, 2023
  • Time: 9:00 p.m. ET
  • Point Spread: Creighton -10

Click here for Creighton vs. Princeton odds

No one would've imagined the 16-seed Princeton would be playing in the Sweet Sixteen. That's what makes March Madness so fun (and frustrating)! Oddsmakers are yet to put out lines for the moneyline, but we do know that Creighton is seen as the 10-point favorite. We did see Princeton upset Arizona, though, where the point spread was much greater. Creighton will be unlike any matchup the Tigers have played so far; the Bluejays have an uber-talented team.

No. 2 Texas vs. No. 3 Xavier

  • Date: March 24, 2023
  • Time: 9:45 p.m. ET
  • Moneyline Odds: Texas (-178), Xavier (+167)
  • Point Spread: Texas -4

The final matchup of the Sweet Sixteen is predicted to be a close one. No. 2 seed Texas will take on the No. 3 seed Xavier for a bloodbath. Jermone Hunter has been essential to the Musketeers' offense, compiling 38 points through the first two rounds. Both teams' rosters are filled with talented players and have been able to adjust throughout the year. It's no surprise to see this game given a smaller point spread, as it's likely to be a nail-biting matchup.
