NCAAB Odds: 67% Of Bets Placed On BYU To Win West Coast Conference

Gonzaga is the number one team in the country. They’re the only undefeated team left, and they’ve dominated everyone they’ve faced. They’ve played just one single-digit game all season, an 87-82 win over West Virginia.

Despite Gonzaga’s dominance, bettors believe in BYU and their +530 odds. 67% of all bets to win the WCC Tournament over the past 30 days have been placed on BYU. The two teams met twice this season, Gonzaga won both games by a combined 28 points.

That said, BYU is a strong team in their own right. They have just three non-Gonzaga losses this year, games against USC, Boise State, and Pepperdine. They’re the number two seed in the WCC tournament as a result. They’ve won 14 of their last 17 games, and they’ve won their last four games by an average of 19 points.

It also helps that BYU gets an automatic bye into the semi-finals of the WCC Tournament as the #2 seed. They won’t play again until March 8th, giving them an eight-day rest.

Gonzaga not winning the WCC would be an all-time shocker in conference history, they’re given -1000 odds. Still, bettors believe that BYU is going to shock the world.
