Duke Suffer as Virginia Odds Shorten

We're two rounds into the NCAA Championship and we still have all the top seeds standing, despite a number of upsets.

We almost saw one of the tournaments biggest ever surprises on Sunday as Duke came close to falling to 9th-seed UCF. Coach K was honest after his side's victory and admitted that UCF were "deserving of winning". The game came down to three plays, Zion Williamson's free-point inducing scoring drive with 14-seconds left on the clock and a missed alley-oop from UCF before a last second shot to win the game bounced agonizingly around the basket.

That narrow victory has seen Duke fall to a best price of +300, from +240 only a week ago. The Blue Devils are still favorites but their rivals are shortening very quickly. 

Virginia have been slammed into a best price of +420 to win the NCAA Championship, from +650. The Cavaliers were third in the betting but they're not second favorites having swapped places with Gonzaga, whose price is only marginally different to how it was pre-tournament, as they now sit on +550 from +600. 

Elsewhere other fancied teams such as UNC and Michigan State have seen their odds plummet with bettors now looking further than Duke to win the national title.

We all know that Duke have the best player in college basketball but despite having a stellar supporting cast in Cam Reddish and RJ Barrett, they don't look like a great team. Can their star power overcome a lack of shooting options? We'll find out as the tournament continues.
